청사초롱 Cheongsachorong

Have you seen this type of lantern in Korea ?

청사초롱 or Cheongsachorong is a Korean traditional lantern. Devided into 2 colours red and blue that represents of yin and yang. Made by rounded or square wood or steal form , covered by red and blue color of silk shades with hanging candle inside the lantern and usually used in wedding ceremonies and now also in special occations like festival. Cheongsachorong deeply meaning to lead the way to brighter future, hope, respect and welcome. The lead way to brighter future and warm welcoming for guests.
