홍삼 Korean Red Ginseng

Ginseng is found only in the typically in cooler climates with yearly temperatures 9-13,8 C. Base on the climate and soil, Korea is the best place for ginseng farming. It takes a long time path that should be done for ginseng until it's ready to harvest. 홍삼 Korean red ginseng takes six years to mature in soil that requires a 10-year rest between planting seasons. After six years in soil and mature enough ginseng root will choose to be harvest and clean carefully from soil and dirt. Ginseng plant usually grows to be about 60 cm. The wild ginseng which grow in the mountain is know as sansam (mountain ginseng)


There are many benefits can be found in ginseng.
Ginseng can stimulating you stamina and increasing the immune system, control for blood sugar, cancer preventative, increasing hormons for male and female, good for skin and as a immune system stimulator and other benefits that make our life better and healtier.



Ginseng can be sundried, or steamed in a special herbal brew and also can be consumed in many forms including extracts, teas, drinks, the actual root and candies. 삼계탕 Samgyetang is one of Korean food which takes ginseng's root as an ingredients. It is good to consume to increase the stamina.
