짚신 Korean Traditional Shoes

짚신 Jipsin is a pair of woven straw shoes in Korea and has a long history. It had been worn by the commoners since the time of The Three Kingdoms. When people in Korea were engaged in farming, the material, "straw" or we can called "jip" in Korean was very easy to find. People made jipsin on the winter, when they were off from farming.
