The 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014, The Up Coming International Event in South Korea

The up coming international event with be held on Sept 19 ~ Oct 4, 2014 in South Korea. Here, The 17th Asian Games will be held in Incheon in year 2014.




Where is Incheon ?
Incheon is located on the west coast of Korean peninsula, 28 km from Seoul. The climate is relatively dry and is affected by variable local and seasonal winds. Incheon now has a total population around 2,750,000 people is devided into eight districts, two counties and 143 smaller units which is including eup, myeon, and dong. As the third of largest city in South Korea after Seoul and Busan, Incheon is rapidly developing now.

The emblem design takes the shape of the letter 'A' for Asia to project the image  of asians holding each other's hand and soaring together towards a bright sun, a symbol of the OCA and Asiad, implies the OCA motto of "Ever Onward" for a bright future. The logo implies the message that the 2014 Incheon Asian Games provides a venue for people of Asia to foster harmony and friendship and represents the hope for the rest of the world to join in celebrating the festival.
