Event : 2012 International Agricultural Exhibition at Jeollanam-do South Korea

Jeollanam-do province located in the southwest of Korean peninsula with 5 cities and 17 counties in the province. Warmer climate than another part in the peninsula (even this place has the warmest weather in the peninsula) caused a good place for agricultural activities and producing various agricultural and organic products. Agricultural commodities from Jeollanam-do such as pears, chyrsanthamum, tomato, melon, pepper, mushrooms etc have been exported to another countries in the world. Rice, potato, wheat, barley, cotton and fruits are also the major agricultural products from this province.

Naju Pear
Naju-si is the best place for pear habitat in Korea, the soil is good for cultivating and harvesting pears. Naju city will be host the 2012 Agricultural Exhibition on this October.

With theme's "The world of agriculture opening up a green future", this international exhibition will be held on October 5 ~ 29, 2012 in Naju-si, Jeollanam-do province, South Korea.
Some agricultural and eco products will be exhibit here such as grains, vegetables, organic products, meat and forest products beverages, dairy products and also farming supplies such as fertilizers, seeds, farming machineries, etc. Not only exhibitions, a lot of activities such as meetings, conferences, agricultural experiences and cultural programs are also included in this event.
