Cultural Experience Hunmin Jeongeum Traditional Printing at Incheon International Airport

Before departing to Jakarta after following Worldwide Korean Bloggers media trip for six days and five nights, I came to Korean Cultural Experience Center at Incheon International airport.
I made a traditional printing Hunminm jeongeum and I was so excited.
Hunminm jeongeum is original name of Hangul. Literally meaning "The Correct Sounds in Order to Teach the People, it is invented by King Sejong The Great. Designated as National treasure No. 70, it was made by wood-block printing and com-prises 33 chapters. It was completed on the tenth day of September on the lunar calendar (October 9th on the gregorian calendar). and should be used by all people in 1446.
The original one is kept in Gansong Museum.

For those who interested with Korean Culture, why don't you come to this booth and trying manythings relates with Korean culture besides what I did, such as playing a Korean traditional music instrument and singing "아리랑" together or watching a traditional musical performance or experiencing another Korean cultural icons.
Here I want to share of my photos of how excited I was! :)

Autumn when greeny scene changes into red and orange, Get warm of festive season of the year with the blanket of leaves ^^

Time goes fast, now we are welcoming autumn season in Korea. It looks special because there are many things we can see in Korea during this season.

The season with nice weather and temperature

With averange temperature between 20 - 23 celcius and less change of rain fall, it is very convenient to travel around Korea. The temperature can be different at each part of Korean peninsula,
But the difference does not quite extreeme. Seoul temperature will be less than Busan for example.
Autumn is also the right time to capture the blue sky of Korea which is rarely find in other seasons.

Time for harvesting

Autumn season is a harvesting time in Korea. Time to harvest rice, fruits and another agricultural comodities.
I will mention some of them, they are

Persimmons are harvested every October, sorted, peeled, and hunged in 45 days until dried, called 곶감 or dried persimmons. One of favorite snack in Korea.

Jujube also called the autumn fruit. The most important fruit in Korea because it is usually use as a ingredient of dishes and medicines.

The season for a nature to change their color

Great sceenery when the leaves change their color from green to red or orange. It will give you the great color of the landscape.
We can see maple leaves which is the habitat mostly can be found in Asia region and 은행나무 ginko leaves are turning their color on this season.
The color will be turn from green to yellow in the first and the second week on October and it will change from yellow to red or orange color
in the third and the fourth week of October (can be different between location)
In Korea, there is the activities called Danpung-nori for viewing the changing color of maples during autumn.

A lot of activities and festivals will be held in Korea during the autumn. The most recommended season for travelling in Korea.

Visit Korea 2.0 App

Korea Tourism Organization has launched the brand new version of visit Korea mobile application.
It is compatible for android and iphone.
So excited when I see this application, and I downloaded this application on my android phone. I think, this version is more informative than the previous version.

What I most expected from this mobile application is a subway map. Subway map is the most important thing that I must have in Korea. I'm looking forward for a subway map written in Hangul for Seoul and Incheon because I believe travellers will get more convenient when they also bring a map in Hangul version together with the alphabet version and it will be easier to ask to anybody by showing a map in Hangul version.

It is recommended for travellers because it's very simple and informative. Some of tourist spots and details are also captured in this application.
